Florida Celebrates Quilt 2008 - Vibrant Visions of Florida is an open judged biennial quilt show, sponsored by the Southwest Florida Quilters Guild. Our goal is to provide visitors with a feast of quilts never before seen in Southwest Florida! Ribbons are awarded for all first, second, third and honorable mention as well as Best of Show, Viewers Choice, Judges Choice, Best Hand Quilting, Best Machine Quilting, and President’s Choice. Our members and quilter’s from all areas of FL are invited to enter their work. Our show will also feature an antique quilt display and special traveling exhibits, as well as exhibits from several groups within our guild; with a special spotlight on our featured “Art Quilter(s) of the year” The guild will also recognize a very special guild member (Our ray of sunshine) for outstanding workmanship and dedication to our guild. Some of her or his, work will be on special display. We hope you enjoy this fifth Florida Celebrates Quilts show, and we hope you will return for the next one in 2008!

Busses and large groups are always welcome. Pre-payment will insure that your group will be met at the bus with programs, and tickets  allowing a smooth flow through the entryway. A lounge is available for bus drivers and husbands to wait in comfort. Vicky Banks is in charge of making sure your stay with us is the best possible.
